1. OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Macyvintage. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Macyvintage. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

3. PRODUCTS AND PRICING

  • Handcrafted Heritage: Our products are handcrafted from natural bamboo, deeply rooted in the traditional lantern-making culture of Vietnam. We take pride in bringing the beauty of Vietnamese craftsmanship to your home.
  • Natural Variation: Because each lantern is made from natural materials and crafted by hand, please expect subtle variations in color, wood grain, and minor imperfections. These are not defects but a testament to the unique, organic nature of bamboo and the artisanal process.
  • Color Accuracy: We make every effort to display the colors and textures of our lanterns as accurately as possible. However, due to natural material variations and screen settings, the actual product may differ slightly from the images on your screen.
  • Price Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
  • Errors: We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service is inaccurate at any time.

4. BILLING AND PAYMENT

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

  • US Customers: Prices displayed at checkout include applicable sales tax. We handle the necessary tax calculations to ensure no additional sales tax is collected upon delivery.
  • UK Customers: Prices shown are inclusive of UK VAT and import duties. The total price you pay at checkout is the final price, and you will not be charged additional fees upon arrival in the UK.

5. SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS

Since we ship from Vietnam:

  • All-Inclusive Pricing: For orders shipped to the United States and the United Kingdom, the price displayed at checkout is inclusive of all applicable sales taxes, VAT, and standard import duties. You will not be required to pay additional customs fees upon delivery.
  • Delays: While we manage the customs documentation, we are not responsible for transit delays caused by customs clearance procedures which are beyond our control.

6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Your purchase is subject to our Refund Policy.

  • For customers located in the United Kingdom and the European Union, we comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Eligible non-custom items may be cancelled within 14 days of delivery, provided they are returned unused and in their original condition.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged.

7. PROHIBITED USES

In addition to other prohibitions, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights; (d) to harass, abuse, or insult based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Macyvintage does not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. In no case shall Macyvintage, our directors, or employees be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws in the United Kingdom or the United States applicable to consumers in those jurisdictions.
