Refund Policy
At Macyvintage, we take pride in our handcrafted lanterns and bamboo products. Because our items are shipped internationally from Vietnam and often made to order, we focus on a policy that is fair and efficient for both sides.
1. Order Cancellation (12-Hour Window)
We understand that plans can change. We offer a 12-hour window for cancellations:
- Cancellation requests must be sent to support@macyvintage.com within 12 hours of placing your order.
- Once this 12-hour period has passed, your order enters the production or packaging stage and cannot be canceled or refunded.
2. Ineligible for Returns/ Refund
Due to the high cost of international logistics and the handcrafted nature of our products, we do not accept physical returns or exchanges. All sales are final. We do not issue refunds or replacements for the following:
- Change of mind: If you no longer want the item, found a better price elsewhere, or decided the style doesn't fit your decor after purchasing.
- Personal preference: Minor variations in bamboo grain or color (as these are natural, handmade materials).
- Sale Items: Products purchased during a sale or with a discount code.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take great care in packaging our fragile lanterns, but we know accidents can happen during long-distance shipping.
We do not accept returns. However, all claims for damaged or incorrect goods must be made within 7 days of receiving the package to be eligible for a replacement or refund.
To file a claim:
- Contact us at support@macyvintage.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number and clear photos/videos of the damaged product and the shipping label on the box.
- Once verified, we will prioritize sending you a free replacement at no extra cost to you.
4. Refund Process
In the rare event that a replacement is unavailable and a refund is approved:
- The refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
- Please remember that the original shipping cost paid at the time of purchase will be deducted from your total refund.
- We will process your refund within 3 business days.
- It may take 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement.
5. Lost Packages & Addresses
- Lost Packages: If the carrier confirms your package is lost in transit, we will send a replacement. We are not responsible for packages marked as "Delivered."
- Address Accuracy: We do not offer refunds or replacements for failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
